If you want to experience a typical Mexican household (complete w/ a cute chihuahua) and improve your Spanish (w/ "real" Spanish), then Claudia's place is the best! There are six others in the house (it's a big house) and so you really get a lot of Spanish practice. Although there were many people, everyone respects your space and they also value their own privacy as well. I had the freedom to come and go as I pleased. (Note that my room was only separated by another room with a curtain, but my "roomie" was very respectful and friendly) The internet is fast and there is more than one bathroom (I never had to wait). The location isn't too far from Coyoacan. Claudia and her family made me feel at home. We played games together and sang many Spanish karaoke songs..lol. Claudia values the exchange of cultures and it shows. If you want to experience the famous Mexican hospitality, then don't hesitate. Thank you Claudia!

Claudia was amazing, warm, caring and friendly. Fantastic location, close to transport, supermarket and cafes. Safe and welcoming, if you want to feel like part of a genuine Mexican family, you couldn't have a better host. Will definitely be my Mexico City go to!

Friendly home, lots going on, Claudia is warm, friendly and helpful. She provided meals at times and gave me a couple of rides to places I was going. My bedroom was accessible through another bedroom, so this might be a concern for some. The home has various people coming and going and staying in the bedroom I had to go through. I didn't mind, but it's not for everyone. It certainly gave me a sense of real life in a Mexican household. Claudia and her husband both speak English.

It’s my first time to come to Mexico and stay with a family. I knew nothing about this country, neither Spanish nor the culture. But for those 6 weeks, Claudia helped me grow accustom to the neighborhood and city. Also always efforted to help me practice Spanish, answer my questions. Claudia and her family made me feel at home for the duration of my stay. If this is your first time to come to Mexico or you want to know more about Mexico(specially about food) that I'd highly recommend this house to anyone looking to spend time in Mexico City. I hope very much to return here in the future!

I had a stop over for my trip from Oaxaca to Puerto Vallarta, and since I had already stayed here, I knew there was no where else I'd want to stay! As always, Claudia, and her family were so welcoming and willing to help set me up with anything I needed. She helped set me up with an Uber to the airport, and I got to learn how to make tamales and pambazos from her housekeeper, who is the nicest culinary teacher I ever had! Lovely family , great experience!

Claudia and her family were very accommodating and made me feel at home for the duration of my stay. While I was only there for a few nights, Claudia made every effort to accommodate my needs, answer my questions and to teach me about the food of Mexico. I told her I wanted a culinary experience and I couldn't have asked for a better host. She took me to the markets, taught me about the produce and preparation, and even ensured I got some culinary lessons in the home. I was given privacy when needed, but felt welcome with the family. A lovely family and great host!
